Privacy Policy

ResumeFitKit is operated by TrackAIMentions and is designed with data minimization in mind. We process resumes and job descriptions to help users assess job-specific alignment. Resume data may include personal information such as name, email, work history, education, skills, and certifications.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it. We do not sell personal information.

1. What We Collect

During the public beta, we may collect waitlist emails, basic usage events, rate-limit metadata, and the resume and job description text you submit for analysis. The current analyzer is designed for short-lived processing and does not require users to create a stored resume profile. After payments are enabled, Paddle may provide payment status and transaction metadata.

2. How We Use Information

We use information you provide to:

• generate resume and job description match analysis;
• identify missing keywords and evidence gaps;
• generate evidence-backed rewrite suggestions and cover letter drafts;
• operate waitlist, support, refund, privacy, and correction workflows;
• prevent fraud, abuse, automated scraping, and excessive AI usage;
• confirm payment fulfillment through Paddle after payments are enabled.

3. Resume and Job Description Data

ResumeFitKit may process names, contact details, employment history, education, skills, certifications, job descriptions, and related application materials that you choose to paste into the service. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive data such as home addresses, government ID numbers, references, health information, or private financial data.

4. Logging and Sensitive Data

ResumeFitKit is designed not to log full resume text or full job descriptions in ordinary application logs. Server logs and security records may include timestamps, IP-derived rate-limit keys, request status, usage counts, and error categories for debugging and abuse prevention.

5. AI Processing

Resume and job description text may be sent to third-party AI API providers for processing. We use API products for this workflow and do not intentionally send resume text to consumer chat products.

6. Payment Processing

Payments will be processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment methods, tax collection where applicable, invoices, receipts, and buyer support related to payment processing. ResumeFitKit does not receive or store full credit card numbers. Paddle may process payment and billing information under Paddle's own terms and privacy practices.

7. Storage and Retention

The beta analyzer is designed around short-lived processing. If stored accounts, resume profiles, or generated application packets are added later, users may request deletion. We may retain anonymous usage statistics, rate-limit records, security events, and transaction records needed for security, accounting, or legal purposes.

8. Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate ResumeFitKit, process payments, host infrastructure, provide support, comply with law, or prevent abuse. Service providers may include Paddle, Vercel, AI API providers, domain and email providers, analytics providers, and security tools.

We may disclose limited records if required by a valid legal request or if necessary to investigate fraud, misuse, chargebacks, or security incidents.

9. Your Choices

You may request help with privacy questions, support history, or deletion of records we can reasonably associate with your request. Because ResumeFitKit may not require user accounts in the beta, we may need transaction IDs, waitlist email, or support context to locate records.
